Meme gave me her piano bench, because her hubby bought her a new one.  She said it was never

comfortable, because it did not have a cushion.

I painted the bench in a light tan color with a gloss green interior.  I added new piano hinges & a safety

hinge to keep the lid up when you want it up.

I created a cushion with a green bird-print cotton fabric and some green striped ticking, and secured

the cushion to the bench lid with tan wide gros grain ribbons/bows & Velcro.
