These metal chairs were put out for the trash.  I rescued them and stripped off the old upholstery, discarded the metal loops on the top of the chair backs, purchased replacement screws for those that were missing, touched up the black paint, added new 1" foam on the backs and 1-1/2" foam on the seats.  The cat print fabric was purchased at Dorell's Fabrics in Fountain Valley, CA.  The pink velour was probably from Home Fabrics in Santa Ana (now closed).  The total cost of this makeover was $45.

This project is my favorite transformation ever!  I donated these chairs to the new offices of OC Animal Care in Tustin, CA.
